Peace of Mind vs. In A Bind
An overdraft occurs when you do not have enough money in your account to cover a transaction, but we pay it anyway*.
Standard Overdraft Protection (for checks and ACH transactions)
Standard Overdraft Protection automatically comes with your account. We may either return or authorize and pay overdrafts for the following types of transactions:
- Checks and other transactions made using your checking account number
- Automatic bill payments (ACH)
Fees and limitations may apply.
OVERDRAFT PROTECTION PLANS
Other Overdraft Protection Plans are available upon request. In some cases, these plans may be less expensive than our standard overdraft protection,
- Overdraft Protection By Linked Accounts – With this plan, you authorize the Bank to make an automatic transfer from your savings account to cover items presented for payment against non-sufficient funds to your designated checking account. These automated transfers are considered limited transfers and each transfer is counted as one of the six transfers from a savings account allowed per calendar month per federal regulations. Each day a transfer occurs from your savings account to cover items presented against non-sufficient funds. Transfers are made for the exact amount to cover the shortfall in Available Funds.
* We pay overdrafts at our discretion, which means we do not guarantee that we will always authorize and pay any type of transaction. If we do not authorize and pay an overdraft, your transaction will be declined. Under our Standard Overdraft Protection, you will be charged a fee of up to $25.00 each time we pay an overdraft, limited to $75.00 maximum per day on the total fees we may charge you for overdrawing your account.
